NY - Long Beach- Customer Service Technician

Flexible Pharmacy Staffing has openings for Pharmacy Technicians to perform customer service tasks at a Long Term Care Pharmacy client located in Long Beach, New York.

Shift Details:

– Monday – Wednesday, Friday – 11:15 AM to 7:00 PM

– Sunday – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Duties:

• Answer incoming phone calls from accounts or client services and/or incoming/outgoing calls.

• Working knowledge of computer systems such as HBS, Docutrack, Pharmacy +, Chem Link, LTC-400 and other prescription tracking software programs

• Take request for refill orders, out on pass, patient discharge orders, and other special deliveries

• Obtain patient information for our database

• Be able to know when to call a supervisor

• Performs other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

– Pharmacy Experience preferred will train

– Some Computer Skills, Pharmacy Experience

– Drug-Free and clean background checks

– Good and relevant supervisor-based references

– Punctual and Reliable – Perfect Attendance Is our goal!

– Knowledge of drugs, medical nomenclature, and the metric system

– Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

– High level of accuracy and attention to detail, good organizational skills, self-motivated and able to work independently

– Must have a checking account for the automatic deposit of payroll (pay is every other Friday for work done thru the previous Sunday). We do not pay in cash or cash cards.

– All Flexible Pharmacy Staffing Employees are expected to be able to communicate via email.
